The project will realize the uncompleted aim of the 'Nineteenth Century Short Title Catalogue'.

The project will do this through upgrading catalogue records for University of Wales and other libraries, and combine them in a central online catalogue at the National Library of Wales. The union catalogue may be accessed at http://geacweb.llgc.org.uk:8000/

The project aims to correct the geographical and linguistic weaknesses in the present NSTC, where there is a lack of Welsh language and Welsh related records.
